Lady Denman Museum and Gallery Strategic Business Plan and Masterplan

Locale worked in conjunction with Ayling and Drury Landscape Architecture, to complete a strategic level masterplan and business plan for the Lady Denman Museum and Gallery located in the Huskisson / Jervis Bay area – also known as the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum.  The Museum is located on Crown land under the care, control and management of Council, which is then managed on Council’s behalf by an incorporated body.

The site has a large range of existing infrastructure and uses, and when combined with the location and historical significance, the area has several opportunities and management challenges to consider.  The site also adjoins the pristine Currambene Creek, leading to the iconic tourist destination of Jervis Bay.

The project sought to provide long-term options for future use to ensure security of the site and ongoing financial sustainability.

“The Strategic Plan your company undertook has been pivotal in supporting our endeavours.” – Diana Lorentz, Director Jervis Bay Maritime Museum
